On many nights, the view of Chicago’s Grant Park and Lake Michigan from my downtown apartment often provide me opportunities of solitude and palate cleansing. A true sense of calm overcomes me, while gazing into the deep blue waters and at the headless torsos, with nothing but my thoughts. Tonight was no different.
But, I did feel like something was missing. A nightcap, if you will, just to make my mellow mood, more, well, mellow.
So, I ventured into my wine cellar, (which happened to be bottom shelf of the fridge), to peruse my fine collection of wines, (which consists of three bottles), and decided on a glass of Good Time Good Friends Pinot Grigio from the wine brand Love Cork Screw.
